Happy Birthday Darick ~

Sorry for the radio silence....You may or may not know this but I went back to my previous job. The oncology case management job so that means I am again working five days per week and I am working in the office. That being said - that is my excuse for not posting on here for a long time.

We celebrated Darick's birthday - Here is a video from our celebration.

Ry's new hobby

Sorry for the delay in posting.... I am working full time again and once again I am having a difficult time with time management.

Here are a couple of pictures of Ryann and her hobby. She loves to listen to Maggie's CD player. Her favorite CD is, of course, the Wiggles. Thanks for sharig your CD's Kelsey !!!

Disney On Ice

Today was the day. We took Maggie and Ryann to see Disney On Ice. This production had Cars, The Lion King, Ariel & Tinkerbelle. We got to use the box tickets that Darick can get from work so we had great seats. Of course, the girls LOVED it.

Saturday Campout

Saturday nights are usually camp out nights. If Maggie has behaved well all week she usually earns a camp out. She gets to stay up a little later, sleep down stairs and sleep on the air mattress or in the tent. Ryann is at the point now where she wants to do everything Maggie does so we Darick decided Ryann could be part of the camp out tonight.

We thought for Ryann's first time it would be best for the girls to camp out in the toy room rather than downstairs - and we actually made them go to bed earlier rather than later because we assumed they would stay up a while talking and playing.

Maggie and Ryann did great. I only had to up to the room once and that was to move Maggie's humidifier close so "she could breath." They did so well that I think I might try to convince Darick to move Ryann's room in to the toy room. The way the room is set up it would be sort of like sharing a room but still having their own space. It would give us Ryann's very large room for a toy room.

Anyway, the pictures aren't the best since I couldn't get to the end of the air mattress to get the best angle but here are some pictures of Maggie & Ryann's first sister camp out.








Tomorrow we are surprising the girls with a trip to Disney On Ice (Ariel, Tinkerbell, Lion King and Cars) so check back for a post and pictures of that adventure.

Sick Day

Maggie and I are home sick today. Maggie hasn't been feeling well the last couple of days. She had a couple of bloody noses and was complaining of a headache so we thought it would be a good idea to have her checked out. Dr. Webb said Maggie was okay - no sinus infection or anything to really worry about. He gave us instructions to put a humidifier in her room for the nose bleeds and just keep an eye on her headaches. He then mentioned in passing that 'headaches can be the first sign of a kid getting a bug'.

I then convinced Darick that I was too sick lazy to cook so we stopped at Red Robin for dinner, headed home, took baths and everyone got settled in for the night.

Maggie came down about twenty minutes later covered in puke. "Mom, I got sick"

Oh, yes she did. She got sick all over her self, bed, and floor. I started to get Maggie cleaned up and Darick headed to her room. Darick doesn't do well with the whole puke thing. I think he said something like "Yeah, you are going to have to take care of that."

We cleaned everything and everybody up. We got Maggie a trashcan and prepared for a long night. I am happy to report Maggie slept all night with out any more issues. She is staying home with me today and won't be able to go to school.

Maggie & Papa

I will be adding some older pictures on here that I want share with you. This pictures is from "The Great Adventure" we took over the summer. Papa was brave silly enough to join the girls and I on a 1300 mile drive to Utah. I was prepared for a stressful drive and I was pleasantly surprised when the girls did great. This picture was taken at one of our many many stops. I am not really sure what state we were in when I took this picture - I think it might have been Nebraska. We had a wonderful time and I really hope Papa will take road trips with us year after year.

Cupcakes... Get your CupCakes!

In January we got to celebrate Christmas with G-ma Tweety and G-pa Tim. It was nice to get together.Hopefully next Christmas we can coordinate schedules a little better. One of the Christmas presents Maggie got was The Gourmet Cupcake Maker. The girls really like this and want to make cupcakes everyday.

The Daily Deel - The first post.

Welcome! This is the first post of our new blog. I thought it would be a great way to share pictures, videos, and stories about all of us the girls. I am just learning to post videos and such so bare with me. I still can't figure out how to get them off my real video camera. Help me, dad!
